The location couldn't be better, Four Seasons Milan is found within a converted 15th century convent that's in the epicenter of the city's retail and dining scene. A favorite of magazine editors during the biannual Fashion Week, the hotel features a removed atmosphere provided by the interior-facing complexity of the preexisting architecture. Interiors blend old and new worlds with period support columns amplified by exposed masonry detailing and a grand fireplace that roars in colder months. It's here that the more formal foyer bar located within the convent's old church offer evening piano and late night lounge service until 1am. The in-house eatery specializes in Mediterranean and local cuisine with views of the manicured gardens that occupy the courtyard. The in-house spa is one of the more architectural in the city, designed by Patricia Urquiol with indoor pool and treatment rooms cocooned in rich woods, creamy marbles and grey color tones.
